NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are the UK’s largest health board, responsible for the provision of healthcare and support services to over a 1.1 million people, through their 38,000 staff.
NHS Greater Glasgow commissioned Changing Mindz to train youth workers in the Glasgow area in Emotional Literacy. The aim was to upskill staff, building their capability to positively improve the emotional skills and life chances of socio-economically disadvantaged young people in the city.
We designed and executed a 7 day training programme that provided training in a supportive yet challenging way. It was delivered alongside comprehensive supporting manuals. The result was a sustainable resource that could make a real difference over several years.
Speaking of the Tony’s contribution to the programme, the commissioner concluded: “I have no hesitation in recommending this highly skilled, capable, motivated and experienced individual”
